Thanks to Thanks!

I absolutely Love thanksgiving and all the festivities that go along with it. Pie, turkey, stuffing, pie, potatoes, wine, pie and, of course, friends and pie.

This year I did a dinner for 10 with an absurdly large turkey: 22lbs of delicious turkey goodness. It didn't fit in my roaster so I had to improvise baking sheets and a lever system... It all worked out though! Half-assed but All-successed!

I'll do up some posts of all the adventures the weekend entailed. But until then I'm going to go eat stuffing for breakfast. (I ran out of pie....)

The Change

Fall colours are popping up all over the place now! I'm so surprised that there are still flowers in bloom outside. The streets are still full of daisies. Mind blown.

Thanksgiving is this weekend and I'm going to attempt dinner for a dozen. 22lb turkey in tow. Haha. We'll see how it goes.

Also. The Fiancé and I finally tried out the building's bowling alley. Yah. There's a full automated two-lane bowling alley in the building. Weirdest. Amenity. Ever. Haha.

I should have all my apple related posts up over the next week! I'm feeling all motivated. Take that Seasonal Affective Disorder! Paha!

Fall

Still getting used to this Ontario weather thing. While in Alberta, the leaves are either all yellow or are just straight up on the ground, the leaves are just starting to turn here. I see little smatterings of yellow and reds on the tree tops from my balcony.

It's weird.

But the air has definitely changed some. There's officially a chill at night and the fog and rain has come to settle on this huge city between even it's huger lakes.

It's kinda a little sad, summer is always my favourite times to do hustle and bustle-y outdoors-y things. But now it's the season for dinner parties and games nights! Yay!

Always look ahead!

Adventure awaits.

(Even if it's just an adventure sitting in a living room surround by friends and food.)
