Shameful Pumpkin Pies? Never.

Well I've made it to the other side of 'Maybe next week"! Yay!

I've made a crumble for you to enjoy (enjoy the recipe anyways!) and it should be up later today, maybe.

Now to plan for Thanksgiving! My favourite food holiday! All the deliciousness of Christmas without the weather or the millions of family engagements. Haha.

Who am I kidding. I'm just happy that I can shamelessly eat pumpkin pies because tis the season. Pass the whip cream!

Cursed Last Words

It seems that, despite every good intention, I have still not unpacked any sewing or knitting supplies, nor have I actually make the apple crumble I've been planning (the apples are still here but looking a little sad).

I actually have been cooking like a mad women, with foods from the market, and also making dinner for 6 every Thursday (as we now host an extra nerdy D&D 5e night) but, of course, I haven't taken a single picture or posted a single post. Bad Andrea. I'm beginning to think that the words "maybe next week" are really the cursed last words of a busy body suffering from make-work-project-itis (aka me).

Sigh.

Maybe next week.

A Whirlwind of What's It's

So I haven't been posting! Bad Andrea! Instead, we've been hosting friends and buying furniture and driving on the 401 (not recommended) and visiting family in Ottawa. All the things, of course.

I still don't have a job but I met a wonderful lady who's given me a bit of a tour of the who's who of the food industry around here. It's helped immensely.

This week I'm hosting Lesley, who I've posted about before, another friend from Edmonton. So hopefully there will be baking in our future! Nom! (And my knitting and sewing is still in boxes.... Maybe next week! Hah.)
