Often, when I'm feeling down in the dumps, I'm reminded that despite what else is 'going wrong' in my life, I am very lucky in Love.
I have amazing friends, who even though I never see them in person (3100km will do that) still message me and make time in their busy lives to skype or FT me.
I have an amazing fiancé who, even though he sometimes drives me up the fricken wall, cares enough to comfort me when I'm sad and tell me off when I'm being a dick.
It's easy to take people for granted, especially when they become regular parts of the day. So it's nice to take some time to thank them and tell them with words:
"I appreciate you. I'm glad you're in my life."
