Wat. Work?

Busy busy week again!

Tried my hand at taking the Go Bus to work. I was Very impressed. Pretty much the same amount of road time as if I drove, stops included. (But I don't have to pay attention to the insanity that is the 401! Yay!)

I wish I could share all my lovely work-y projects but confidentiality agreements are weird.

Oh Well. After it's all published maybe I can. ;)

Until then! There is always my cooking and adventures! (Just as it's always been.)

I'm going to do up a photography post soon I hope! All the lovely fall walks through Rouge Park.

All the Things!

Rain.

We got hit with a weather front that was remnant of hurricane Patricia yesterday. Super gross and rainy.

But I did decide to take a walk despite the nastiness and watch for raindrops on fallen leaves and all that.

Personally, I hate rainy weather as I find it terribly depressing. And inconveniently wet. There is nothing more uncomfortable than wet feet. (Well, maybe tooth pain. But on a spectrum, wet feet is still up there.) Lately, since Ontario is so much more a rain-zone than AB, I've been looking for the beauty-rain-factor more. I still hate the rain but at least there are aspects of it that make for great photos.

Anyways! Halloween! It's coming. I usually love to do halloween but we haven't for the last couple years. Last year because we didn't really know too many people (and pretty sure I was sick), and this year because there's so many things to do! (Obligatory lung infection: Also check.) Haha. Ah well. Regardless there will be pumpkin carving! So excited!

Fall Rush

So every now and then time decides to speed up. Like some horrible yet riveting real-life movie.

The last week has been a prime example. What happened to this week? It's Friday! What the Heck. Where'd the middle of the week go? First it was Monday, then Schoooop, Friday.

-complain complain-

Anyways. I'm doing some work for The Test Kitchen Inc., which is super exciting and utterly confidential (no spoilers.....yet), so I'll be working double time to keep up-to-date with mah postings.

So yah. Fall = blasting by.

I have a fried chicken recipe to post! And maybe some dessert-y cheesecake related delights. ;)

Fingers crossed. =P
